Celtics FG 45.7% 3PT 43.8%
Philly FG 58.3% (!) 3PT 30%

Benches
Celtics 55 minutes 12 points
Philly 40 minutes 8 points

Stevens is giving more minutes to the bench this season. Lot of reasons for it, but regardless, it is a different approach from the past. I think they play better together when they play more, but, I don't have three stats geeks telling me what's going on.

Can we stop whining about the refs? Anytime a guy goes for the pump fake and lands on a guy while he's in the shooting motion, it's gonna be called. Guys have to show a smidgeon of BBIQ.
Um... How about no?

That's why we're the most obnoxious fanbase. If that happened on the other end and it wasn't called, this board would be in full on meltdown mode.

Call a spade a spade. Robert fouled him there. Move on.
TP !! Complaining about referees is a Celtics fan favorite pastime .. there are other fanbases doing the same but ours tops all fanbases
true true. and unlike other fan bases, we are proud of it.  ;D

Too many injuries caused by opposing players not called fouls. DH throwing Jaylen down and into PP no call. The Hayward injury where he was nailed in the air by LeBron and Crowder his bone comes out of his leg not call. Tonight Embbid hits Jaylens legs in the air no call. That's way we get mad. Embbid just flops all over the place getting calls for nothing and our guys are getting hurt.

Is it just me, or is Ben Simmons completely invisible thus far in the last two games?

I'll call a spade a spade. Embiid traveled, end of story. With all due respect, I could not care less about who thinks we're obnoxious. I'm not that insecure.

Lol, "with all due respect, let me imply that you're insecure. But I'm above it."

Okay.

There's a 100 travels a game that refs don't call. We often benefit from it just like other teams. It's whiny when players are actually fouling Embiid and quite often. Celtics fan to Celtics fan.

Have a good night.

not quite invisible, but yes, given his ability and reputation he is not shining. i give CBS some credit for that.

now if the celtics would just make some of their shots, they would pull ahead and win this game.  >:(
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

If there ever was a moment to highlight Brad Steven's infatuation with timeouts it is that image of his rokie guard clutching his knee and writhing in pain while the coach refused to call a timeout to attend to his player.

What is it with this guy and timeouts?

He was quietly effective in the last game.  Not great, but solid.

Hasn't done much tonight though.  He's always a good defender, but I don't think the Sixers gave him a contract worth $177M for defense and a few assists.  They need more out of him.

Cs need to go at Embiid this half. He’s in foul trouble so they need to attack that.

can tell Jaylen wants this game.  hoping everyone else shows up with that desire in the second half

Jaylen is playing like a top five player in the league so far this season but can't get a call to save his life. 0 free throws for Jaylen. 3 for the Celtics as a team.
I don't know if I'd say top 5 but he's definitely at all-star level and without trying to sound like a homer (which I am), I'd say all-NBA level

Let’s try and get Embiid fouled out this game
It's nearly impossible to foul any star player out of a game these days.

Seems like a change in strategy from Doc, at least against us given that Embiid has been dominant individually against us.

Unfortunate those two 3's went in for the Sixers.  An Embiid 3 and a transition 3 from Harris are shots you'll live with.  Needs to be more resistance though.
