The Heat look really bad right now, they just collapsed against the Wizards and are 7-14 right now. What's going on with them?

Randle might just be top 15 this season, but not close to top 5

No Ben Simmons tonight, and Tobias Harris is not the superstar the media was trying to make him out to be.

No Ben Simmons. Hard to overstate his defensive value. And Melo got hot...

Dallas blows.  So much for Luka being ready for the big time.  And yeah I'm being hard on Luka who has played quite well, but the man was being hyped up like he was the second coming and the Mavs are terrible.  3rd worst team in the west terrible.  And Luka has been worse than last year in a lot of ways despite entering that 3rd year where players start to really put it together
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I feel like having to play alongside a G-League roster for periods of this year with KP, Kleber, Finney-Smith, Richardson, Powell and Brunson all missing time has hurt him. Their roster construction is ... shabby at best. Also starting to question Carlisle

He tweaked his knee and went to the locker room but came back and played 34 minutes.  Rather stupid on the Sixers part.  They should have sat him after the Blazers got a big lead in the 3rd.

He's regressed a bit with his sidekick and another core player being out for a good chunk of the season so far on a very thin team that's relying a lot on their top 4. I still think he's the "second coming" in the sense that he's going to churn out Harden level seasons for a long time, but the white Jordan/LeBron projections were always unrealistic for someone who can't play much defence.

The media who's anointing him as a DPOY candidate is already doing that , you simply can't outpace defensive anchors in the pivot as a forward or guard on that end of the floor.
