2014 Fantasy Football General Advice/Commentary Thread

Hey, its that time again. Camps are well underway, a handful of games have been played, and its draft season!!

So here is your general Q&A / Assorted Opinions thread. Use it well, and if you ask a question and someone answers it, say thanks, or at least drop them a TP.

Opening stuff up, I'm in a keeper league. I can keep 2 guys. League is PPR

For sure keeping: Kennan Allen WR San Diego, Cost: 8th Rd pick

Thinking about it:
Montee Ball RB DEN Cost: 2nd round pick (28th overall)
Zack Ertz : 8th round
Justin Hunter: 8th round


It's a no-brainer to keep Ball and give up my 2nd, or is it better to keep the 2nd and roll the dice with Hunter/Ertz?

The way I see it, I'm looking at Matt Forte at 4th. I know Charles isn't a keeper, I had him last yr. so there's 1. Shady will be there, 2. Lynch will be there, so maybe 3. AP will be there, so 4. I'm hoping for Forte.

So Id go Forte at 4, and Ball at 29th.

I've had Cam Newton on a 8th round price for the last 3 years. So I haven't had to worry about a QB. I dont see myself going there at my 3rd round pick either, unless Brees is there or something (he's not gonna be).

Only ever done Yahoo! Been doing auction league for the past three or four seasons, and that Draft Night is always my favorite. So much smack talking and strategy, so much fun.

I'd keep Ball, he could be great and is a sure thing. Hunter and Ertz are gambles, you always go with the sure things.

I've done espn and Yahoo and I much prefer Espn.
