No, Korver doesn't play any defense. Also, there's no way Utah does it after their record spiked the way it did last year when he joined the team.

Non-exclusive list of affordable big men who are better than Josh Boone:

Ryan Anderson
ZaZa Pachulia
Jason Smith
Theo Ratliff
Aaron Gray
Amir Johnson
Jason Collins
Chris Mihm
Spencer Hawes

I won't even bring up players like Nick Collison or Jeff Foster, since they are probably out of reach.

Boone has zero offensive skills.  I'm unimpressed by the fact that he was able to get minutes with a bad team and put up some garbage time numbers.

You're too funny.  To each is own, I guess.

Most of those guys are junk (I do see what you are implying).  About 3 of em are "bangers".

Tell me this, doppleBrick: does Perk have any offensive skill?  Does Perk's backup therefore need any?
God bless and good night!

Robert Swift??
We all know hoe much Danny loves him..
That's what I was thinking too.  Not that I agree with it, but if Danny made a dumb move it might be for this kid.

I like Pruitt though.  He's a cheap, tall point guard who can hit threes and defend.  I wouldn't be surprised at all if he's a regular in the rotation this year.  He's good at defending scoring point guards (from what I've seen in preseason) and he has a good handle.

Big Baby plays solid position D against the big guys that P.O.B. can't handle, so he's useful to have around.  He's been playing well with Powe.  His range seems to be better this year too.

I think trading these guys now is against what Danny's philosophy is.  He wants to wait until they become a little bit more proven so he can sell high.
