Working out with the C's today, Thursday, 6/11:

Montrezl Harrell (Louisville),
Kameron Woods (Butler),
Duje Dukan (Wisconsin),
Chris Walker (Florida),
Greg Whittington (Georgetown) and
Jamal Jones (Delaware 87ers - NBA D-League).

Harrell seems like a Celtic to me.

Maybe his shooting doesn't make him a fit for CBS's system, but I like his athleticism and motor.

I can see Harrell picked as BPA if he slides to 28.

Big question will be Harrell's ability to play center. Has the length and athleticism to do it. Could he be a Dwight/Ben Wallace on D?

Draft: 8 first rounders in next 5 years.

Cap space: $24 mil.

Good comp. I would say he is a better athlete with a better motor, so a rich man's maxiell. If we can get that type of player at 28 I think it's a steal.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Young Maxiell was an even better athlete than Harrell. But yeah Harrell is better at a lot more more things so you could say Rich man's Maxiell.

With the way the NBA game is currently being played I can easily see Harrell playing bench minutes at center. The Cs have used Bass, Sully and Jerebko all at center at times and Harrell is better suited then any of those 3. Watching the finals last night the Warriors play Lee and Green for extended minutes at the center position. They are obviously the extreme with the small ball mind set but it has obviously worked.

Does seem like he's sliding in the draft. I'd consider him at 16. No question you grab him at 28, even if we are kinda stocked at the 4. Good to great athlete, Huge hands, long wingspan, and high motor. Love see him playing with Smart.

I can see Harrell picked as BPA if he slides to 28.

Working out with the Celtics today 6/3:

 Larry Nance Jr. (Wyoming)
 Cady Lalanne (UMass)
 Maxie Esho (UMass)
Alpha Kaba (France)
 T.J. Price (Western Kentucky)
and Kevin Capers (Florida Southern ? D2).

https://twitter.com/celtics?original_referer=http%3A%2F%2Fbasketball.realgm.com%2Fnba%2Fteams%2FBoston-Celtics%2F2%2FHome&tw_i=606092153949941761&tw_p=embeddedtimeline&tw_w=349949388812070912

Kaba is an interesting prospect for our 45th pick.

Alpha Kaba | PF/C | France | 6’10 | 225
With a 7-foot-5 wingspan, Kaba has the length to alter shots on defense, though the 18-year-old is seen as raw after only playing 31 minutes in France’s ProA league this season.

I agree.....classic draft and stash. L-O-N-G and smooth jumper.

I don't like his shot. More like a shot putter.

No worries...he pulled out yesterday.

I'm really happy they are working out Looney. He is probably going to be the highest upside player available if we stay at 16.

minor update 6/18  looks like the Cs are bringing in Latvian Sf Janis Berzins on the 23rd.

Doing a little research he looks like a long athletic wing who played really well at the 2013 Fiba U20. Including a 26pt 15rb final game of the tournament.
