I just had to share it with you, because you are lucky maybe once in a life to have a Boston Celtics champion wearing jersey of your favorite hometown club outside of US. Guys, Big Baby is overseas, in the town, right where I live, hopefully till the end of the season. Another jersey in my collection, this one is a special one.

I am glad we imported a Celtic champion.
How long he lasts here? About a month?

EDIT:
Prime "Baby" had an unbelievable lateral quickness for such huge body mass.
I can't recall anyone that short, with 300 lbs, to move so fast on the perimeter.

He played in the 3-on-3 league and looked like he was in good shape.

How much will he earn for this gig?

Not much, but he said his goal is to earn another NBA contract. Let's wait and see if he's serious.

One other random memory of Big Baby, was taking my daughter to her first Celtics game at the Garden vs the Magic.  It was during a stretch where the Celts were shuttling all sorts of no names in and out to tank for the draft.  I think maybe the "Jameer Nelson Era".  Big Baby was playing for Orlando and I had explained to my daughter how he used to play for the Celtics.  There really was very little else of any interest in the game.  Both teams were playing out the string.

My daughter was very amused by the nickname Big Baby, and every time he stepped on the court she would make baby "wahhhh" noises.  It was pretty amusing.

He will be 33 in January.  A bit tardy to the party in terms of a comeback but I guess not entirely out of the realm of possibility.  Maybe the Patriots should try him out if the NBA doesn't work out.   I bet he could be a decent OT.

A Celtic champ has landed...

A short rest from jetlag, and soon first practice in our arena...
