Brady is looking very much like the best QB in the league.  He is just carving them a part and I have no doubt that he noticed Miami DB cramping up and he immediately attacked him.  Brady is just a joy to watch.
Maybe we can win a playoff game this year.

Sometimes I wonder what Brady would do if he weren't a QB. Lawyer? Detective? Computer programer? General? One of those business logistics guys who knows where every truck in the world is and what they're doing? Pro poker player?

I think he'd take over the role of World's Most Interesting Man.

I kinda think Gronk could maybe go down as the best TE to ever play the game if he didn't have to split catches with Hernandez, Woodhead, and Welker.

I sorta get the feeling the defense has issues that you don't see when you're up by 14 points with Tom Brady on your side

500 yards for Brady.  Crazy.

yup.

know what's crazier?

in my espn fantasy football league, chad henne's performance was worth only 3 pts fewer than brady's (122 to 125).  ridiculous.

nate solder really impressed me how he handeled cameron wake...he won that matchup for most of the night.

pats offense looks just as unstoppable as last year(and pretty balanced too with the run game) but the defense is going to have to get stops...especially next week going against a quarterback better than henne

looks like C.Ochocinco isnt up to speed yet..OR, Belicheck sat him because of his penalty in the beginning of the game..

I wish I was into football, especially considering the fact that we might not have an NBA season. Football, to me, is just not that interesting. When does hockey begin?

That was a fun game to watch.

Brady obviously had a good night, and looked very much in command.

The Pats TEs are fantastic, love them.

Liked the various heads up plays from Deion Branch, including the chase down tackle of Odrick who intercepted the tipped pass.

Solder impressed, and Dowling did as well, but to a lesser degree.

The only person who didn't play as well as I expected was McCourty.  Hopefully it motivates him to intercept Rivers a couple times next game.
Celtics fan for life.

Great to see the offense clicking last night although I'm concerned about the Koppen injury and it sounds like it could be season-ending.  That's a big hit although Connolly did alright stepping in last night.

Defense has me a bit concerned.  They gave up a lot of yardage last night although the pass rush has seemingly improved from last season (as it should given the offseason).  Secondary did not have its best game and the linebacker play was non-existent at times.

Big one against San Diego this Sunday.  Now, that is a legit offense.  Could be another shootout.

The defense gave up a lot of yards, but I look at one stat, which was a huge improvement from last year, I believe they were 3/14 on 3rd down.

It seems the coaching staff switches to a very conservative defense when they have a lead late in games, which messes with the stats and sometimes lets a team back into a game. I hate that.
