Horford gushed about Schroder for about 45 seconds at the end of his interview.  He sounded legitimately excited to play with him again.

I am excited about Schroder also.  I see him as a valuable pick up.  Of course, I thought Teague would be good also (not as good as Schroder but good for a back up).

According to Schroder, Horford was on the Celtics recruitment team, along with the J's, Brad, and Ime.  Just another datapoint that Stevens doesn't view Horford as simply a more tradable contract than Kemba's for a midseason acquisition.

Rob Williams got a big smile on his face when asked about adding some muscle. Not sure how much he's added, but he's definitely proud of it.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Me too. I'm excited to see how well Brad did in adding some vet depth to two young stars.

Love Jabari Parker’s interview. He really embraces Celtic Pride. He gave a very humble interview.

Guess Nick Kyrgios is excited for the season to start as well. IG profile is him in a C’s Jersey and he played at TD Garden over the weekend in Laver Cup. Pretty cool.

Maybe he realizes he is one step away from bagging groceries.

I hope he can make a place on this team .

It's great to see how genuinely happy both Jaylen and Jayson are to have Horford back.  I hope Al can help both of them further unlock the potential they both have to be great players.

Bummed to hear that's Jaylen's wrist will never be the same.  But it was great to hear about his off the court endeavors and his passion for education.  Side story - I lived in Boston for two short years.  During my first year there I was on MLK Jr Boulevard in a mobile community health clinic as part of an internship.  I took a break from the clinic and went for a short walk.  Out of the corner of my eye I saw a group of young men hanging out in front of the projects. I overheard one of them boasting loudly about how he had robbed someone the other day.

The fact that Jaylen is giving some of these lower income kids an opportunity in life that they otherwise would not have is incredible, and hopefully his efforts keep them on a path where they don't end up like the group of men I observed.  Jaylen's maturity at his age is really remarkable, as is his desire to give back to the community.  Easily my favorite Celtic since Pierce.

Where did you hear or read that JB's wrist "will never be the same"?

Edit:  I see he said that in his 2nd interview, thanks.  Doesn't seem like anything to worry about.

It’s rather ironic that Kyrgios is a die hard Celtics fan, because he couldn’t be further from demonstrating a Celtic mentality.

He has refused to have a full time coach nor listens to anyone that attempts to offer help. He is constantly petulant and childish, throwing tantrums, sometimes purely giving up on games, sets or matches. He has never been in elite shape, which is especially embarrassing for someone as young as him.

All these characteristics resembles recent iterations of the Lakers.

Yeah doesn't sound serious, but still discouraging to hear that he has occasional swelling and decreased flexibility in that wrist.  Every factor matters at the pro level as you know.  I'm just glad that it's his off hand.
