As much as I hate the Lakers, I think this is a good fit for IT. He can certainly knock down open shots playing with LBJ or Westbrook. And age shouldn稚 be a factor as the Lakers are in win now mode. Playing time might not be guaranteed though. Thoughts?

His recent stint with LA was his most productive post-Boston (he was still really bad). He's a big name which LA are clearly looking for. Not sure about the defence of that group though...

In a lineup of IT-Russ-LeBron-Melo-AD, who gets the shot?
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

He値l probably have to play the role of a sparkplug of the bench. His playing time will definitely be irregular, maybe even some dnps. But he値l get some chances when LBJ and Westbrook get days off. Maybe a role like that is his best chance of landing on an NBA team this season.

It could be (if he can stay healthy), but I don't like the idea of him going to a team with a very offensive-minded playing group, let alone on the Lakers

I would have wanted to see him here but that ship has definitely sailed with the Schroder signing. I hope other teams give him a look because I too wouldn稚 want to see him with the Lakers (again) as well.

I guess him and Lebron made up after the disaster half season in Cleveland.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I hope for IT that he gets a shot somewhere. Preferably not with the Lakers but I am good with it if that's his only chance.

IT played crap next to LeBron in Cleveland. Why would he play better playing off the ball to LeBron & Westbrook now?

Dumb signing.
