Argh ... man, this sucks.

These playoffs have been awful. Yes, there have been some good games but it is terrible to see how many teams are being taken out by injuries. This is survival of the fittest. Not who is the best team.

Owners brought his on by playing a condensed schedule and not giving players enough time to recover from the bubble. Of course the players weren't complaining too hard because they were getting more money this way themselves.

Hope he feels better

In terms of the series and playoffs though, Utah doesn't have many excuses now.

Man, if we had been healthy, and could have snagged 4th seed, I could envision a path to the championship, despite our struggles, given all the injuries cropping up.

Yeah, at least we knew we weren't healthy going in and had a rough stretch at the end of the season. All these other teams are getting blindsided.

Really unfortunate for the league this year. Still hope the Bucks can take out BKN. I'd hate to see BKN fully healthy again for the ECF and the Finals.

Has there been a single series that has not been affected in a major way by at least one injury or absence?

Completely agree. What a disappointing playoffs.

Now we have to see whether Jayson Tatum is going to be healthy after adding the Olympics to his schedule.

Maybe the league should also reconsider International games too...players need time to rest, they're only human.

Oh boy, it may be worse. Clippers fear he may have torn his ACL...  :o

Update: Actually there's some conflicting reports. Some say it can be an ACL injury such as a sprain, but a few outlets say there's a fear he actually tore it. Either way it's some sort of ACL injury and yeah, I don't think he's playing for a while

This is why player options exist.

If he is out next season, how does that impact Balmer off season moves? Make a trade for Kemba more likely, or less likely?  I could see argument more  likely as they need to get another scorer to replace Kawhi.   And they already give up unprotected 2022 first round pick to get George, so, they can't tank next season.

Or if Kawhi misses next year, do the Clips blow it up and start a rebuild?
