Rather have Thompson, Sully is in the minor leagues ....for a good reason .....OTOH Thompson is valued byGMs in the NBA

If there are GMs who value Thompson in the NBA then DA needs to trade him in the offseason ASAP.  This would be offseason business #1.
Tristan Thompson is a terrible fit for the Celtics current style of play, can't shoot the 3 ball to save his life and barely serves as more than a Speed Bump against the likes of Bam Adebayo.
The Celtics desperately need to improve the supporting cast around the two Jays.

No...

Tristan Thompson has been quite possibly the only player on this entire roster who has actually played his role the entire season, and has never screwed the team by trying to be something he's not.  His physicality, interior presence and rebounding have been valuable to this team.

If you're going to trade a role player who can't shoot threes then trade Smart.  There's nothing worse for a team then a role player that thinks he's an all-star.

Update: Anyang KGC broke the record for longest win streak in the playoffs going a perfect 10-0.
Jared Sullinger has been named MVP of the League putting up 42 and 15 in the championship game.

Sulley was clearly too talented for the level of competition but it's not like every supposedly washed up NBA player would have bullied his way to a perfect playoff record en route to the championship. Good on Sullinger, South Korean Legend.

Wouldn’t Sully be an upgrade over Grant at this point?

I don’t know.  Sully put up very good stats in one of the worst professional leagues in the world.  So did Shawn Long., who is completely devoid of NBA talent.

True, but he did average 13ppg and 8reb in his second season in the NBA. He was also overweight by 30-40 pounds at that time. Sully’s now down to 250lbs and looks quicker. He’s still only 28, could be worth a second look.

Sully would be absolutely horrible for this team.

He couldn't stay in shape to save his life, wasn't very good on defence, played with horribly inconsistent effort, had a bad attitude, and always had a problem with chucking too many three point bricks,

Like we don't have enough of an issue with guys chucking ill advised threes and playing with inconsistent effort.  Long, hard pass on captain happy meal.
