Per source, Atlanta Hawks plan to keep #6. Obviously any surprise late offers could change that but as of now sounds like ATL comfortable staying put.

Knicks moving up to 23 is interesting

They probably really want someone in the 20s and think they wont last until 27

On the rumor mill they like Isaiah Stewart. Could be the guy they hope is there at 23

Alternatively, they're planning to package #23 + #8 to move up in the lottery.

As a basketball fan Ball would be a great attraction for NY.

I just saw this one on line, which I don't recall hearing:

"Meanwhile, in his latest Hoop Collective podcast, ESPN’s Brian Windhorst theorized that the Cavaliers, who hold the No. 5 pick, could be a landing spot for Hayward. Cleveland has interest in Hayward, according to Windhorst, who speculated that the Cavs and Celtics could be open to a deal that involves Andre Drummond and a draft-pick swap. Of course, if Hayward is prioritizing playing for a contender, he may try to angle to avoid a move to Cleveland."

That would be intriguing!

If we could send Hayward and 14 to Cleveland for Drummond and 5, then spin 5 and 26 to move up into top three, maybe yes??

No chance I include 14 in that deal. Drummond was just traded for Brandon Knight, John Henson and a second round pick.

He does not get you Harden and only a drop of 9 spots in the draft.

So 14 and 5 would EASILY get into the top 3 imo, but then we are stuck with Drummond. And he is nothing near what a Stevens center is.

Still, he is useless to us at 26 million. Need a third team for him at a minimum.
Sacramento?
Spurs?

OkonGWU has a an injured foot... the mystery around it can make him fall down to 14s

Doubt he slips beyond 9/Wiz.

Danny wants top 5.

Atlanta is trying to save face because they are not getting anyone they wanted (Jrue, Hayward)

Okongwu has a broken toe.  His stock likely drops.  But how far, remains to be seen

Danny loves situations like this. Especially if that prospect drops hard and he can scoop them up

I hope Danny has deal worked out with one of the 7 to 9 teams.  As long as the prospect they want are no longer available.

14 and 26 sounds like should do the trick

Things I found out today:

If you plan on telling your wife that you can't spend time with her this evening because it's a Jewish holiday...

1)it's probably better not to be married to a rabbi's daughter.

2) Come up with a better name than "Yom Ha'draftday."

3) It turns out that "Baruch Atah Adonai Okongwu" is actually not a prayer.
