Doesn't this depend a great deal on what the trade being offered is.  I mean what if the deal is Smart, Yabu, Semi, and maybe a Boston 1st or two.  Is that a bad trade for Boston, I'd say no.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I wouldn't be surprised if the Warriors tried to trade Draymond this summer to make room for Durant and Klay extensions.

I definitely wouldn't pick him over Anthony Davis as a trade target.

If Ainge did get cold feet about trading for Davis for fear he might leave after one season, I like Blake Griffin as a possible target, depending on how things end up in Detroit.

we are gonna need something

I think Celtics have a better chance against GS than Raptors or 76ers

Green looks cooked. Not sure he’s going to get the dream pay day he is looking for.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
If we brought in AD, I would be 100% on board with bringing in Draymond.

I wouldn't pay him the super max, plus I don't think he's gonna win it anyways, but AD/Dray would be a devastating front court.

It's a hard no for me. I can't stand that guy, and would absolutely not want to cheer for him.

If we are talking ridiculously unlikely trade targets on the Warriors, I would much rather discuss Durant opting in to his last year and demanding a trade to Boston.

It's just as ridiculously unlikely, it's for a much better player, and it's for a player that is much less a dink as Green.

I don't want the Celts to be the team to pay Green for his next deal.

I have a really hard time not envisioning Draymond playing for the magic as their star in a few years averaging 12, 7 and 4 with awful shooting splits. Related, I really don't think he likes DUrant.

Everything about what you said feels correct to me.

this ^ might be the most accurate answer .  no sure what you might end up with.  i can't pretend to think how he might react or play on another team

I wouldn't be surprised if the Warriors tried to trade Draymond this summer to make room for Durant and Klay extensions.

This is what they absolutely should do. Of course it all comes down to what Durant and Klay want to do, but the Warriors could kill 3 birds with one stone in trading him. 1) Acquire assets for him, 2) Not have to pay him the max, 3) Might very well convince Durant to stay.

With so many teams having cap space this summer, they could essentially salary dump him while picking up a couple of valuable picks.
