I don't know about you guys, but while I'll miss C's basketball for a week, I'll be happy knowing our guys can rest and heal more.
Yeah I kind of wish Kemba could take the week off entirely.

Romeo's best game so far!
That’s not saying much. Dude played 28 minutes and got 1 board and no dimes. Weak.

Did you watch the game or just check the box score? If you watched you’d have noticed he was usually the 5th option on offense and his main role was on defense. It’s not like he’s Zion Williamson in this offense where they were feeding him touches. He made some good hustle plays, did well for his 28 mins.

Plus he passed up some 50-50 shot opportunities to others who had better shots. On a team with less stars he probably would have taken those.

I was happy with Langford. Did his job defensively and hit the shots available to him. I can't ask much more form a rookie thrown into the starting lineup with 4 players who are all good offensive options. And its not like the C's did awful on the boards.

Indy was up on Toronto 118-108 with 2:11 left.   Lost 119-118.

That hurts.

Yeah we keep winning but the Raps have been on a major streak so we haven't caught up at all.  We somehow need to get back to the 2nd seed.

Me too, and his defensive presence is active and fun to watch.

Did you watch the game or just check the box score?

From the comments I think we know the answer to that question.

Any news on Brown's ankle? It didn't really look too bad. Hope he's not out, we really can't afford it.

Saw this comment in FLC's 'Comments from the Other Side' section on Celticsgreen and it made me laugh:

So, we couldn’t beat Boston without Tatum, Brown and Kanter... and we also can’t beat Boston without Walker, Smart and Theis... pathetic

It really goes to show how fluid our team has been this year with so many injuries. The fact that we keep winning so many games with so many different players is extremely impressive. Guys really have to learn to play with teammates they aren't used to playing with and we have remained successful.

Yeah I kind of wish Kemba could take the week off entirely.

My other issue is that because of all the injuries, some of our current guys are having to play well north of 35 minutes to essentially cover for the guys who are hurt. Pretty sure Tatum + Brown played about 39-40 minutes, Hayward 35.

As much as I'm on board with keeping players averages around 32 minutes, I'm not worried about extending them for a few games.

Brown and Tatum played 38:16 and 38:37, with Hayward playing 35:13. It's not really that big of a deal since they are young, and this doesn't really happen that often.
