  • It's not hard to work hard.
bucks are hard enough to beat without them getting some of the game genie cheat codes shot to go in, geez
McHale's favorite ruse is putting paper in the mouths of sleeping teammates. "Try using one of these cocktail napkins," he said. "When just the edge sticks out of a guy's mouth, it looks like he's got fangs. The best part is when he wakes up."

Look at how the Bucks are playing D, going around picks. Cs are not close and that has a lot to do with the bucks hitting shots.

another game where Smart is garbage on offense.  may be better off with him staying as a bench player and moving someone else up as a spot starter

Who though, Wanamaker?

We were having a little momentum but 2 straight misses from Smart turned the tide.

Right now we can see how far away we are. We need a whole tema for and extended stretch to play.

There are games where I get reminded that the Celtics are just a combination of a lot of above average and good players.  I really don’t see a superstar out there.

Yeah, it’s clearly Smart’s fault

well I guess it was too much to expect for us to break out of our slump on the road against the Bucks.  But it would be really nice if we would put up some resistance.

We all know we don't have a superstar. We can contend but its important that all of our main guys are available and at least 3 of them dont have an off game. I would like to see the splits for when 2 of our top 4 guys have an off game vs one or none.

valid question.  silly as it sounds, I'd consider Green to bring in energy to start the game.  not a lot of minutes and with an eye towards a quick hook if it doesn't work but the kid does bring the energy that Smart has not been providing when he starts lately

Bucks fighting so hard on D. They’re just playing much harder.

Yeah, it’s clearly Smart’s fault
clearly it's not all his fault but he's bringing nothing on offense and not defending like he can.  we're obviously not moving a starter to the bench if we continue to lose starters to injuries
