Kyle Lowry vs Heat:
25 pts, 7 rebs, 8 assists
Serge Ibaka vs Portland:
18 pts, 8 Rebs, 2 Blocks, 78% shooting

Kyle Ibaka, Y'all!

You didn't happen to catch the OKC game, did you?  I'm an Ibaka fan, but he got absolutely torched when he was guarding Gerald Wallace.  Last night wouldn't be the game I chose to applaud his performance.

We're sorry.

Is that what you wanted?! Are you happy now?!

Listen here Tuff Guyz, I'm not a huge fan of that tone!

EDIT: Also, its gonna take more than one guy's apology to make this right. I'm gonna need 3 or 4 minimum.

I loved Serge, not a lowry guy, but your making me rethink my position.

Since we're pimping our team still, I guess it's time to check in on how my backup big men have done over the past week:

Randolph:  31 points, 11 rebounds vs. Mavericks
24 points, 15 rebounds vs. Thunder

Tolliver:  16 points, 15 rebounds, 4 blocks vs. Celtics

Hayes:  13 points, 14 rebounds, 11 assists vs. Warriors

Not bad for backups.

No, I checked out after writing the recap last night. After that Celtics game, I'd seen my fill of basketball.

To be fair, Gerald Wallace was unconscious for most of the second half last night.

How would you rank Kyle Lowry among NBA pgs now that he can shoot the 3. Who is he slightly better/worse than.

3:48  KDonhoops: Quick rankings like this are tough, I have no clue, but he's an All-Star level guy (if not member of the team out West) if he keeps hitting 40 percent on threes.

haha I've been swamped at work, but I've been pestering Dwyer for that ranking for the past 3 weeks. Figures the week I leave it off Dwyer answers

I definitely wouldn't put Lowry on the team ahead of CP3, Westbrook, or Nash.  However, if you only look at his March numbers, then he might be 4th (although I'd still take Parker and Steph Curry ahead of him probably.)

I'm surprised he left them off in past weeks, seems like he generally answers everything. Though I haven't been frequenting the chats/site as often since Trey Kerby went to the Jones.

Yeah Lowry makes the All-star team in the West when pigs can fly. Just too much talent.

In the east he'd have a shot if his number don't drop. He'd beat out Rondo at least...his biggest threat would be Deron Williams.

Between you me and the blog...the funny stuff ain't as funny, the good analysis is too spaced out, behind the box score comes about once a week, and create a caption ain't what it used to be.

I 100% agree. I feel like Kerbs leaving has put a lot of pressure on Dwyer to be a jack-of-all-trades guy as opposed to when he was just a (significant) contributor focusing in on the more serious side of basketball.

The not-as-funny humor has me leaning more towards the Jones (though I find their 'more serious' writers pretty unreadable) & Truehoop mostly.
