I want a caveat:  if I'm randomly assigned the Celtics, I want to be able to swap teams, or get a re-pick.  After KG and Powe went down in games I picked them, there's no way I'm jinxing any more players.

No soup for you!

You get what you get and you don't get upset.

And BTW, here's what we'll use to determine our teams

http://www.random.org/sequences/?min=1&max=16&format=html&rnd=new

How exactly?  I can see lining up the number that people sign up on here with the order the random generator spits out... but all that does is assign a number.  Is that going to be the "draft" order, the overall playoff seed number for the team you get, or something else?

Something like this.  I'll lay the teams out by conference finish...It really doesn't matter what order since it will be randomized, but we'll work it like this.

Cleveland
Boston
Orlando
Atlanta
Miami
Philadelphia
Chicago
Detroit
L.A. Lakers
Denver
San Antonio
Houston
Portland
New Orleans
Utah
Dallas

I'll have it generate a set of numbers

Like such
    * 3
    * 6
    * 12
    * 16
    * 10
    * 4
    * 8
    * 2
    * 13
    * 14
    * 5
    * 9
    * 1
    * 15
    * 7
    * 11

then I'll just paste the NBA team next to the #'s.  The # you are on the list will match up with the random # assigned to the slot like this

  * 3    Cleveland
    * 6   Boston
    * 12   Orlando
    * 16   Atlanta
    * 10   Miami
    * 4   Philadelphia
    * 8   Chicago
    * 2   Detroit
    * 13   L.A. Lakers
    * 14   Denver
    * 5   San Antonio
    * 9   Houston
    * 1   Portland
    * 15   New Orleans
    * 7   Utah
    * 11   Dallas

So in this scenario I would have Portland:

1) Redz
2) johnnyrondo
3) Big Ticket
4) CelticsWhat35
5) Roy Hobbs
6) Truck Lewis
7) silvershamrocke
Yup

Man I'm glad I caught this... I would have been mad if I missed out.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

CB Draft Bucks: Chris Paul, Dwight Howard, Tobias Harris, Zach LaVine, Aaron Afflalo, Jeff Green, Donatas Motiejunas, Jarrett Jack, Frank Kaminsky, Lance Stephenson, JaVale McGee, Shane Larkin, Nick Young

DKC Bucks. Also terrible.

Celts could win the series and you could still conceivably win yours as well.

So this is only for the first round, until one team is eliminated.

Don't think of the NBA team you get as "your team", think of them as your available pool of players to choose from.  They can lose, and you could still win if you pick better than your opponent does from his available pool of players to choose from.

If you beat your team YOU move on to the next round, where you will be given a new to team to choose players from.
Yup

Another question:  let's say I get the Cavs in the first round, and then draw the Cavs again in the second round.  Can I re-pick the same players I used in the first round?
