He's no Philip Seymour Hoffman, that's for sure.  He does the same style flop over and over so it would be nice if the refs caught on.

I think that as Lebron ages he is going to use more and more dumb tricks like this so we are going to have to get used to it.

In the first video it looks like he does get hit on the nose and those shots can be very painful for a second or two and then the pain goes away.  He certainly embellished a bit, but sometimes you overreact when you feel pain.  I mean I've done it when I stub my toe and no one is around.

The refs have known about this for years and yet it continues.
The refs have witnessed his travels, his fouls (regardless of him 'knowing how to play the game' and not fouling  ::) ) and his offensive charges and yet, nothing has changed where the refs stop calling it (or non-calling it) in his favor.

Bron is the league's golden boy, annointed the chosen one before he set foot on the court, much less before he won a championship (by ganging up with his all-star buddies to form a superteam because he couldn't make it on his own).  Much like Shaq was annointed in the first Jordan retirement period when the league needed someone to market

this guy is horrible. and it's stuff like this that really ticks me off when people try to put LeBron in the same class as Jordan, bird, magic.

did they try to take advantage of the refs? sure did.

but they did it a little more strategically and a whole hell of a lot less frequently.

dude's a joke. espn has really clouded the field when it comes to judging the great from the ok.

That is fantastic.  Lebron has taken flopping to an entirely new level.

At what point does this backfire on him, in a "cried wolf" type of scenario?

And Kevin Garnett has never, ever set an illegal screen.

He stopped it with the checking his eye act after the refs finally figured out that it was always bs.

Love the gifs. LeBron better be careful. You can get whiplash doing that sort of thing.

Gifs are gonna wind up doing more to reduce flopping than the league ever did.  Players don't care much about a small fine, but a repeating mini-movie that makes you look like a chump?

I thought Lebron had moved beyond the flopping the past couple years. He had finally become the king of the nba.  :(

He should be embarrassed by these videos. Keep them coming and post them all over the web.

ugghh! listening to First Take on ESPN just now and they're responding to Eric Spoelstra's comments that "Lebron is taking too many hard fouls this yr."

which tells me that Spoelstra is coming to LeBron's defense on him and his flopping.

and of course ESPN doesn't even put 2 + 2 together, that Spoelstra's comments "coincidentally" come directly after the subject of Lebrons' flopping became a discussion.

instead ESPN says "poor Lebron", "Spoelstra's right", "LeBron needs help".

im so sick of these issues getting brushed under the rug.

Lebron does take a lot of hard fouls.  He also embellishes a bit at times, which mind you is pretty much the same thing every great player does.
