Of course it was in the Celtics' favor - as it consiustently is with Mauer.

He's the guy who gave the C's game 2 of the 0-8 Finals...

Remember?

38-10 ft margin?

Yes, they got hosed. I really hate NBA refs. Is it too much to ask for them to call games fairly? I'm glad Celts won, but come on..

Agreed.. If Rondo/Ray/Pierce had received those fouls that Deron did, the boards would have exploded about how bad the officiating was. I think at least the first two on D-Will were questionable, I cannot recollect the third, but I think it was a block call. The fourth was without any doubt legit.

The Celtics definitely got the better of last nights officiating, anyone stating otherwise is just ignoring the obvious.

Completely agree TP!

I only caught the last (approximately) 27 minutes of the game and I didn't think I saw anything particularly weird regarding the refs. You never know if your glasses are tinted just a wee bit too green, though.

If we look at the box score, we see that the Jazz shot 40 % from the field (30.8 % from 3ptland) and 76.5 % from the ft line while the Celts had percentages of 55.2 (42.9 % from downtown) and 87.1. The Jazz actually shot three more (34) ft's than the C's.  Both teams had 34 rebounds. The Celtics had 31 assists and 15 steals with 16 turnovers. Utah only managed 19 assists and 6 steals  with 21 turnovers.
