I like him for depth and has a decent looking stroke.

Worth slightly overpaying to better balance the roster IMO.  These are the moves that Danny seldom made. It was almost always about value with him, and he had a blind spot for roster balance.  Brad seems to be far more focused on this than Danny was. Hope it equates to more winning.

Brad repeatedly showing this offseason that having a balanced roster matters. Love it.

Interesting that we took on money for him.  Perhaps Wyc is committed to paying the tax this season after all.

Looks like he's non-guaranteed for next year.

EDIT:  Of course, it saves us money if the idea is to now waive Parker to keep an open roster spot.

Also, I'm curious if we had to use one of the trade exceptions on this deal?  We can't aggregate Dunn for salary matching purposes until October, according to Spotrac (they say Oct 7).

EDIT:

Quote from: Woj
Deal can’t be formally completed until September 15, when Dunn and Edwards contracts are allowed to be aggregated in the trade.

EDIT 2:  Under CBA rules, players can't be aggregated until 60 days after they've been acquired.  The trade was formally announced on August 7, so Spotrac would be correct, under the way the CBA is written.

That said, Woj doesn't usually give bad information, so I'm wondering if the aggregation rules were modified somewhat due to Covid issues.

Hernangomez's 2nd year being non-guaranteed makes this a no-risk move in my mind. Better positional fit with roster. Good riddance to 4A Carsen.

Not sure what he does well, to be honest.  Yeah, he's a positional fit, but...

Really loving Brad the GM. Every move has been solid, IMO.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Not a fan of having Juancho on our payroll for $7,419,505 in 2022/23. Anyway, it's a minor trade. I guess we finally have our 15-man roster.

100% non-guaranteed so long as he’s waived by June 2022.
