Love?

Wall for Love, Rubio maybe someone like House or one of the late 1st's they have also to Cleveland.

Love and scrapes for Wall looks very doable...
the other one that makes some level of sense is the Clippers

Wall for Bledsoe, Kennard, and Ibaka
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I don't get the league allowing a player to sit out like this. If the team can justify that a trade is imminent maybe, but just canceling his whole season like this to protect his trade value and their draft slot, that shouldn't be permitted.

It’s an imperfect system, but there aren’t great solutions for forcing a team to play a player, especially if the player mutually doesn’t want to play for the team.  How does the league decide who has to play and who doesn’t?   How much does he have to play?  Does he have to give 100%?  Is it better for the league to have John Wall just go through the motions like Blake Griffin did in Detroit, such that he gets bought out, goes to a contender, and ups his game?
I don't know the answer. But allowing healthy guys to sit out an entire season when they're under contract shouldn't be tolerated.
In the Horford case, this was likely OKC management purposely doing this.  (as an aside, it's one reason I think Ainge may have already had his eye on getting Al back.  The other reason is that the deal came so darn quick after Ainge stepped down, but I digress from what I was going to say)...Will Horford's lower minutes last season (782 vs a career avg of 2159 per season) be a benefit to the Celtics?

Why would Cleveland need another point guard?

Maybe a little sense.  Not sure the Clippers would want to pay and extra $18ish million in luxury tax this year to get Wall, but I think the bigger problem is next year.  Wall at $47+ million is owed $30 million more than Kennard, Ibaka, and Bledsoe.  The tax bill would be astronomical, and it would be really difficult for the Clippers to make additional moves with Kawhi, George, and Wall being owed more than $130 million between them.  You'd have to be sure that Wall is an All-Star player to make that move, and I'm not sure he's an upgrade over Reggie Jackson in terms of fit on that team.

They need a point guard for every center.

I believe they are trying to eliminate the wing position.

I don’t think it makes sense for the Clippers.  Wall missed time several different times last year, only appearing in 40 games.  It’s likely this trade would hurt LA more than it helps.

Sure but Ibaka and Kennard did basically nothing for the Clippers and Bledsoe is no where near as good as Wall.

Also, Wall could have played towards the end of the year, but they kept him out for better draft position.  So he probably could have had 45-50 games played.  Still not a full season, but also not as detrimental as 40.

This is classic Kyrie:

"Some NBA news:

There are a handful of Kyrie trades that potentially make sense for the Nets, Kyrie’s agents have made it known that Kyrie would simply *retire from the NBA* if Brooklyn were to trade him."

Yeah, Kyrie called Mr. Wrong a puppet.  Then Mr. Wrong said that he knows for a fact that Kyrie's agents have said what was claimed.  I'll always believe the person not named Kyrie Irving, even if his name is Nick Wrong.  Irving has repeatedly demonstrated that he's a liar.
