Time to move on from Kemba. If you can’t stay healthy for the playoffs even after all the management during the season, then you’ll never stay healthy.

Let’s go all-in and use Kemba (salary filler), a buttload of picks, and one or two of our promising youngsters to go get a KAT or Beal type. Tired of the treadmill team.

Yup two years and no big contract Kemba in playoffs .   Best to move his contract ,  chalk it up Danny as a learning experience  ,  waste of cap space.

So I'm just curious, if the Celtics miraculously win tonight, can Kemba go Game 6 or is he basically done at this point? It's definitely frustrating that Timelord + Kemba have been "babied" for much of the regular season as best as management could yet all it takes is a few playoff games and they are hurt/injured. Just not good.

Would more than anything like us to make this a physical unpleasant affair for the Brooklyn stars. Giving everything will be a foul, make them feel it!

Celtics need to put these Brooklyn stars on their ass a couple of times early, especially Irving. I couldn't care less about flagrant fouls. I would love to see it, but given the current soft nature of the entire franchise, I am not expecting much. Wouldn't it be great to see Tatum take Kyrie down on a drive to the basket ?
It's the reason I keep harping on about how we should add Jonas Valanciunas. One of the toughest players in the comp and doesn't back down from anybody. Would toughen this team up a lot
Would prefer Plumlee tbh.
Definitely get that. If Plumlee starts trying to fight people I'm in

Kemba might literally be one of the worst contracts in the NBA now, or if not definitely Top-5 in that category I feel. Idk how you can dump him or work on some trade where you can get rid of him and get back someone like Beal/KAT.

You could hope a disgruntled player asks out and wants to play here but even then why would a team feel obligated to take back Kemba. They'd have to find a way to sweeten the deal. No way you can just dump Kemba. I don't think "Kemba, 1-2 young guys like Romeo/Nesmith and picks" is going to get it done. Definitely will take Smart in a package and probably another real asset in addition.

I do think ultimately they'll have to find a way to add another star, or at least another real #3 option to go with Jaylen and Tatum. Fournier is nice, but as more of a 3B or 4th option IMO. Shouldn't need to break the bank to keep him anyways. If they want to contend, make a move and go past the luxury tax for a bit. Otherwise enjoy these middling seasons.

Kemba has DJD of the knees..not good for a basketball player.

Brad was asked directly about Kyrie wiping his foot on the logo but doesn't answer the question. Way to lead, Brad.

I know what Tommy would've said!

Miss you Tommy!

I can't think of a Celtics coach that wouldn't use that to motivate his team. Player-coach Russell did it with Balloons!
