When was the last time the Celtics were winning a game?
Is Pritchard a starting NBA point guard? I don't think his group of talents are there. I think he's a perfect backup point guard though.
I don't know yet. He doesn't get other guys shots at this point in his career, and I also think he spends a lot of time meandering with the ball in his hands. He has a lot of these strange drives where he just sort of dribbles around with no purpose, and to his credit he has a good handle and it doesn't result in turnovers... but it also doesn't accomplish anything.
As much as some fans love to snark about Kemba being a SG in a PG's body, that's even more true of Pritchard. And like you suggested, that's something you don't mind too much in a backup PG. But to become a starter, he needs to learn how to make his teammates better.
We'll see. Lots of time and development ahead of him.
