What does it matter if he plays?  The upside is he gets into a rhythm that carries into the playoffs.  The most likely is that they continue to struggle.  The downside is that he rolls an ankle and misses the play-in, but then we hit the lottery so is it that bad?

I’d much rather Tatum want to play than having given up on the season already.  That’s a positive.

Right now all I care about is my own feelings and I will feel better if the Celts don't get past the play-in only to earn the right to get their butts kicked all over the court by Philly or Brooklyn.
