Terrible news.  Can't tell you how many times my father & I would go to dinner there before Celtics or Beanpot games.

Back in the old Celticsblog days, Jeff once invited me to a meetup there with Paul Flannery, Steve Bulpett, and Jessica Camareto.   What a fun & insightful evening that was.

It’s a reminder of how thin a margin restaurants and bars operate on.  Even an iconic place can’t survive.

I’m hoping they can sell, but who wants to buy a sports bar in this climate?

I’ve had some great memories there. I was kind of hoping to share some with my children, but it looks like that won’t happen.

I am not sure if you are all aware but many restaurants sue their insurance companies for pandemic related losses and shutdowns. It’s pretty much a lost cause as the policies they are referring to are actually property insurance policies not business Insurance policies...
Anyway my point is that the owners may have been misled by their insurance agents that the coverage they purchased would help them in hard times such as present.

I think I have hit The Fours both before and after every Celtics and Bruins game I have gone to. That place is deeply engrained in every game experience I have had at the Garden.

What a sad day. Covid strikes and kills again.
