yet another double digit lead lost. was that an 18 point turn around? good thing this meltdown happened in the 1st half. we need kg and ray to step up on their scoring. ray needs to get some looks!

Geez, what's up with all the optimism?

There are 48 minutes in a game and we're only down 8, chill out guys, we've got this one.

TP, Drucci. They can't play that bad for the whole game. 8 points isn't something they can't overcome.

Go Celtics!!!

BBD would be a perfect player to promote Advil cause he just gives us all headaches.

1 shot each for Garnett and Allen that half...

I dont understand these types of things I really dont.

KG and Allen arent demanding the ball or trying to be a part of the offense, thats what happens when your coasting.

No. Don't lump KG into all of this. KG has been our most consistent player all year long and the only reason he got taken out of the game is because of foul trouble. Ray Allen is really the guy who disappears from the offense, especially when its in the clutch.

You think Ray might save some 3s for the Finals this year or we'll he be a non-factor down the stretch like always?

Indiana scored 30 pts in the 2nd Q, and 27 in the 1st.

REALLY?

The offensive droughts are nothing new for the Celtics but letting Indiana score that much is ridiculous.
that's largely due to the refs taking KG out of the game. kristic has 3 fouls, KG has 3 fouls. many of the calls were ridiculous.

re: ray only taking 1 shot....remember, when the ball doesn't move, ray doesn't get shots. and...yeah, that's a major consequence of the refs taking KG out of the game, and baby not seeing a shot he doesn't like.

Okay, either Jeff isn't demanding the ball out there, or they're simply not looking his way. It was about 6 straight minutes where the guys didn't even pass the ball to Jeff lol.

Oh, and BBD is a blackhole.

this game has gone badly for 2 reasons: bad refereeing and yet another insane game on offense where baby has taken more shots than ray, paul, KG, and green.

Baby played as many minutes as KG and Ray combined, took 6 shots (same number as Pierce) and shoots 50%.

However, he´s playing pretty bad, at the moment. He´s slow and makes a lot of bad decisions.

It´s not pretty.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Sure.

To be optimistic, you should've slept for the hole last month and not watched a single C's game since all star break.

You know that sick feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you turn on a Celtics game a little ways into it, and the first thing you discover is that Donny is announcing that nights game?

I just watched the Globe 10.0 with Shaugnessy about whether the Celtics can turn it on again this season . . .

He thought they could last year, and he says he really doesn't think so this year.  Part of that is probably just because Dan Shaugnessy always says whatever runs counter to the popular opinion.  I have to agree with him, though.  I just don't feel confident in this team.

Last year it seemed like they had all the pieces they needed to play championship basketball but they weren't doing it for whatever reason.  Right now it feels like they may be a few pieces short - and I'm not convinced Shaq and JO will be able to come back and be those missing pieces.

I know others have said this, but I'm on board now.  BBD is gone this summer, he's walking as a FA.  Right now his presence is basically hindering Jeff Green's development as a 6th man on our team.

What's the correlation between the past games and this one? Should I assume we're going to lose this game because we've been in a slump for weeks? We've got to get out of it at some point and Rondo definitely looks like he has got out of his own slump so far.
