Schedule/Match-Ups

Day 1: Eastern Conference (Arguments Focus: Monday)

(1)Bulls vs (8)Knicks
(2)Pistons vs (7)Magic
(3)Hawks vs (6)Pacers
(4)Celtics vs (5)Wizards

Day 2: Western Conference (Arguments Focus: Tuesday)
(1)Mavericks vs (8)Nuggets
(2)Blazers vs(7)Hornets
(3)Lakers vs (6)Jazz
(4)Suns vs (5)Clippers

Voting will be done as follows: Votes for Eastern Conference Only will be allowed from 2PM Monday-11:59PM Tuesday (All EST). Voting for the Western Conference will be from 2PM Tuesday until 11:59PM Tuesday.

I'm in the Western Conference, so I don't want to hear about the time difference. Basically it boils down to: We get 1 more day to figure out arguments, and 8 Playoff Series is too much for the average person to have to handle in 1 day, but I'd like to keep these Playoffs as contained as possible.

The rest of the week will look like:

Day 3: East/West Semis Debates and Voting

Day 4: East/West Finals, Team Of The Future (only teams still not active, or everyone but the top 4 teams eligible) Debates and Voting

Day 5: Finals Debates And Voting

Alright you sons-of-biscuits, don't wuss out on me now. If you were a GM, even if you aren't in the playoffs, you're expected to vote, and you're encouraged to participate in the debates.

I thought I read somewhere only teams not making the playoffs were eligible for TOTF.

Must have been mistaken. Well, there's yet another stupid move on my part for this CB Draft. I think I'll just take a mulligan for this whole draft this year and vow to win it all next year.

I could make peace with being a bottom 8 team yet again. But the fact that you guys put your heads together and voted Rubio, Sefolosha, Gallinari, Griffin, even Garnett playing center, all through as starters on playoff teams is insulting.

Best of luck to everybody in the playoffs though.

Nothing terribly surprising from the results.  I think things are pretty in line where I thought they might be.

A couple of interesting 1st round matchups.

TPs to everyone for a job well done (so far).

a little surprised by some of the voting but just a +/- 1 seed here or there.

also surprise we finished 7th in the West -- thought we were a little better than that -- but that is a monster conf.

hate. our draw in the first round... :P

Honestly GC I have no idea how you came in 7th. Didn't see that coming at all. Yeah this is up there for best conference that I've seen since playing. Ton of talent.

See ya on Tuesday my friend.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I would like to thank everyone for nominating my team not only first in the East, but first in the entire league. Chicago is a great home arena and we'll always have home court.

I'm on my way to my honeymoon though, so I'll be brief with: Bulls in 4.

Did you see Pau Gasol today?

24 points in 33 minutes. On 17 shots.

Spain should have played Marc more though. Only 17 minutes? He goes 8-10 for 17 points. A point a minute. He should have played more.

Marc had massive foul trouble. 4 fouls in first half alone
