Tonight will be the first game 7 for Celtics Stuff Live.

We will be joined by Scott Souza of the "Metro West" and the "Gatehouse New Service," who offers these comments and quotes in his today's article:

Quote
...this is the first time most of them will have been through a Game 7 together. That is among the great unknowns as they face the make-or-break game where the legacy of a 66-16 season hangs in the balance.

``We know they are not going to lay down,'' offered Leon Powe, who will play in his first Game 7. ``We have to take what we want. You know the season could be over, but you have to have confidence in ourselves.''

That confidence must extend to confidence in each other as well. The common threads between the three Celtics defeats in the series have been how help defense broke down and ball movement grinded to a halt as the Hawks rallied. That leads to more breakdowns like the ones in Friday's Game 6 loss.

Allen gets criticized for taking a quick shot late, Kevin Garnett gets criticized for passing up two shots and Pierce gets criticized for not being around to be an option for those shots because of six fouls and a costly technical to boot.

With that criticism nothing compared to what will come to three celebrated stars who have never won a title - and the coach who has never won a playoff series - should the upset happen today, Allen said that will not factor into what happens on the court.

``It is like taking the last shot of the game,'' he said. ``You don't think about it being the last shot. You shoot it like any other shot. It's just that, if you miss, there is no time left to shoot again.
