Mo Evans cannot defend a player of Jeff Green's size and skill-level.

Washington are going to have to change that matchup if they are to have any hope of containing Green.

JaVale McGee is such a lousy basketball player ... what a waste of physical gifts.

Hopefully, he puts it together over the next year or two because it's painful to watch him waste away his career.

Jeff Green playing some nice defense and getting after the boards early.

A Celtics starting five of D.West, Von Wafer, J.Green, G.Davis and JO ... could play close to .500 ball if they had a deep bench.

Troy Murphy and Nenad Krstic are decent enough but Arroyo and Pavlovic will be weak points. Probably more like a 30-33 win team.

Anybody else enjoying the opportunity to watch a team that tries?

Wall is too strong for Bradley.  One of the only times I've seen Avery get beaten badly off the dribble, Teague notwithstanding.

It's definitely fun seeing what the bench can do in starter minutes. Also helps that it's against such a crappy team.

that John Wall is a rookie, yet he gets better calls than the Captain. This is great  ::)

the team is trying very hard...nice to see. not surprising they're doing pretty well thus far.

It's the John Wall show... ::)

It's a pity (for Washington) that Trevor Booker is out.

He would have been a good defensive option to throw at Jeff Green.

I love you, Who, but I think that team wins 15 games, max.  Tonight, they're playing even with one of the worst teams in the NBA.

Question- Who on the Celtics that are playing today were starters last year on other teams?
I've got JO, Delonte, Jeff green, Murphy.

That's quite a bench on paper, no  matter how much these guys may have disappointed us this year. So it's not like the Wizards are playing scrubs here, except for Wafer and Bradley.

C - Jermaine vs McGee
PF - BBD vs Blatche - advantage Washington
SF - Green vs Mo Evans - advantage Boston
SG - V.Wafer vs Crawford - advantage Boston
PG - D.West vs J.Wall - advantage Washington

C - Krstic vs Seraphin - advantage Boston
PF - T.Murphy vs Yi - advantage Boston
SF - Pavlovic vs O.Jeffers
SG - Bradley vs L.Owens
PG - Arroyo vs M.Shakur - advantage Boston

The Celtics should win this game. Their bench isn't great but Washington's is miserable.

Yi Jianlian.  I'd forgotten all about him.
Wasn't he supposed to be "better than Yao"?
