Wow. Speechless. On the "bright" side we were in the same situation against Miami in game 1 last year but somehow I think the Knicks are much more dangerous and capable of holding to their lead than Miami was.

Gotta make a strong run to start the 3rd or we're toasted. And maybe, just MAYBE, we should give Green some shots when is on the court because you know, he can score and he actually defends Melo way better than Pierce.

maybe it's time to finally try that lineup of Jeff Green with the big 4 instead of Davis, I mean, 1-6 for Davis so far, if we are going to lose, lose with our shooters taking the shots

What happened to the switch?  ??? The same old tired offense.
"If somebody would have told you when he was playing with the Knicks that Nate Robinson was going to change a big time game and he was going to do it mostly because of his defense, somebody would have got slapped."  Mark Jackson

Props to TNT for the big screen analysis with Kenny.  That rocks!

Yup, it's totally due to the Perkins trade that our offense is so bad, right?  Cos Perk was a regular Moses Malone.

You've hit on the biggest problem with the whole "trade is the culprit" argument.

51 points allowed in the half?  Yeah, that's tough, but I could live with that.

39 points scored in the half?  There's your problem.

There's an old saying that goes: defense wins championships because you can rely on it every night. Offense comes and goes. If the Knicks were shooting 40% and not above 50%, Boston would have the lead.

Plus, Perkins would make the offense better. These guys are just too inefficient for the type of role the center has in this offense. They're shooting below 40%, Perkins would score at a 60% clip.

Jeff Green took two shots. I thought he was brought in to help spark the offense off the bench? What am I missing?

Rondo is playing decent....it really isn't about Rondo...it's really all about our Big 3's performance.

1st Half:

Our Big 3: 21 points on 7-18 shooting

Knicks Big 3: 31 points on 11-19 shooting

This.

KG's been particularly impotent offensively.  The C's have gotten nothing out of him when they go to him in the post.

Anybody else think the Memphis-Denver game will be more exciting?

They run, we don't.

Regardless of who has more talent.

Scary.

Still a lot of ball to be played. Celtics will get back in this.

Wow.  One half of basketball.  It's silly to be drawing conclusions from 1 half.  But, I'll have to assume that all of you were dooming Chicago during Game 1.  And, of course, all of you are predicting that the Magic, Spurs and Lakers are going down too.   Or is it just the C's who can be destined for certain ineptitude after 1 half of basketball?

Yea, KG put up some weak shots down low and got nothing but air a few times. The only time I feel confident with him shooting is when he takes the 20 ft jumper.

Baby's superiority as an on-ball screener (and his willingness to call his own number once he gets the pass) gets him many more touches.
