lol we are getting swept

It's only one game but ya know, it wouldn't surprise me if we do.

Seriously, it's gotten that bad for this team.  They've got nothing left.  I'm convinced.  Game 1 of the nba playoffs at home against one of the worst defensive teams in the league.  You have everyone doubting you, everyone saying the trade was bad, that you've got nothing left.

This team should've come out to make a statement.  Same old team since this trade.

Yup, it's totally due to the Perkins trade that our offense is so bad, right?  Cos Perk was a regular Moses Malone.

Maybe our starters aren't too enthusiastic about the chumps that came in.

We scored 15 points. WOW.
We may have "flipped" the switch, but the Knicks sure as heck flipped it back. We can't do a [dang] thing.

The pessimism I expect - that was a mediocre 1st quarter followed by a horrible 2nd.  The overreaction, ok, it's pretty much the norm.

But hearing people gloat over the team underperforming like they'd predicted is really something else.

You've hit on the biggest problem with the whole "trade is the culprit" argument.

51 points allowed in the half?  Yeah, that's tough, but I could live with that.

39 points scored in the half?  There's your problem.

I am 100% Rondo hates Ray Allen. Doesn't even look hi sway anymore.
Ray is never open anymore. And when Rondo waits around watching Ray run around pointlessly, we're even worse off because by then, we only have a couple of seconds left on the shot clock.

No way. We have too much heart. Not giving up on this yet, Knicks played a perfect half. We can adjust.
are you kidding?  Knicks were far from perfect.  very far.  C's were even farther away from it.

Let's see what they do in the second half.  If they come out with purpose, they can win this game.  if they don't, I really be p---ed off.

So they're just going to throw the season?  Please.  If our players are that pathetic, they don't deserve to be playing in the NBA.

Rondo is playing decent....it really isn't about Rondo...it's really all about our Big 3's performance.

1st Half:

Our Big 3: 21 points on 7-18 shooting

Knicks Big 3: 31 points on 11-19 shooting

so much for flipping a switch. this team will be lucky to get past the lowly knicks. this is just putrid

It was an awful half, or, a mediocre 1st quarter and terrible 2nd quarter.  You may be correct, but it's plain silly to draw firm conclusions from one half of basketball.

That last foul on Billups with 2 seconds to go shows what type of D we're playing so far. It's flat, lazy, with no tenacity whatsoever. Even the execution in offense is sloppy. When was the last time we saw Ray with an open three...specially those killer threes in transition? It's just mind boggling how the C's level of play has dropped on both ends after the trade.

Well if you all think we are going to be swept, time to start enjoying the last 7 halves you will see of this starting unit.
