I hope you do Rondo.

I will stand and clap when you comeback Jan 2nd, 2014.  But we will be beating you and your Mavs that night

Delirious and delusional if you think the Celtics are going to beat the Mavs

I'm mostly just curious what the tribute video will be like. Kind of miffed that I'll be out of town and won't get to be at the Garden.

I actually want Dallas to blow us out that night just to stick it to Danny Ainge. I want him to have a triple double.

Im being selfish, but so far, that's how I feel.

That's probably what Danny wants at this point though.  Lose more games to increase the odds of getting a better pick.

Oh, okay. You are so hysterically and historically wrong about Rondo it is sad. You and your conjoined twin, Chris22, are the main reasons I stopped coming here and posting, because your blather about Rondo was beyond irritating. Just came back tonight to express my sadness about the trade. Now that I am done, I am out of here again, so I can ignore the idiocy of the Rondo Haters.

You sure you new hero, Marcus Smart, will even be playing on January 2? What's he played, 9 games this year? I am sure Rondo is shaking in his boots worrying about having to go up against the almighty Marcus.

Right - so Rondo should play, but tell Carlisle to 'rest' everyone else, and sabotage the game at the end, giving the Celtics a win, but sticking it to Ainge.

Let's wait and see how this fit goes first. I think Rondo will be able to be a good fit in Dallas, but he WILL HAVE TO ADAPT. He can't dominate the ball nearly as much as he did here, and that will be a hard habit for him to break. Alot of Dallas writers/fans have strongly mixed feelings about his fit and capability of adapting to Dallas. I think it eventually works out, but, just like the Cavs, let's them play a game together first before exalting them.

EDIT: And it will be interesting to see how a Rondo/Ellis backcourt works defensively. If Rondo doesn't get back to his defensive roots, he'll be ate up by the elite PGs out West. Maybe his lessened offensive role will let him get back to defense.
