I actually thought Pietrus' shots tonight were fantastic. Those were both practically in. They just rolled out in very cruel fashion. It looks to me like Pietrus, based on this game, is back to where we want him to be.

I say this based on the fact that his three point attempts were finally good looking ones, which hasn't always been the case lately.
On the dribble step back I thought he had a wid open driving lane.

Both shots were halfway down...

yes, remember that play, he should have taken it to the hoop.

Nice game by Bradley tonight.  That jumper's still not falling, but he made a ton of plays out there.

is for Brandon Bass and Mikael Pietrus to return to their regular season forms.

Our best lineup in Game 1 was with Pierce at the 4, thought that was probably to counter Philly's lineup.  If Bass isn't hitting shots, his value plummets for us.

If Bass isn't going to get it done, I'd like to see a lot more of Pietrus.  Piety is a great defender and he will hit some big 3's for us.  He had 2 in-and-outs last night.

I think there are a couple clear observations from Game 1:

- The Sixers have no answer for KG

- Bradley must defend Evan Turner

- Pierce is shooting line drives

- Bass' production is cratering in the playoffs

- The Sixers have no answer for Rondo if he is hitting jumpers

- Pietrus has to play more against Iggy

- Hollins is incredibly goofy

Really? He played well last night when he wasn't matched up against Thad Young.

24 min, 10 pts, 4 reb, 0 ast, 0 stl, 0 blk, 4-9 FG, 0-0 3FG, 2-2 FT

That's roughly in line with his regular season numbers of 12.5 PPG 6.2 RPG in 31 MPG.

He did much better last night, and if he'd hit one of those five wide open jump shots he'd have had an excellent offensive game. That's his shot and he'll start making them if the 76ers keep leaving him wide open.

Pietrus has been dealing with a bad hamstring, and if iy is causing his lack of production Doc needs to go with Daniels or Pavs for some production. Both can play defense and bring better offense at this point than Pietrus.
Bass is what he is and will help us along, and will play less than stellar defense also, but we have won with him and will still win with him.
Bradly will be alright as long as he continues to play defense. His offense will return and he will help us win games.
We need all the above to step up if we are to move forward amd hopefully it happens soon.
