It's 1.6 ... he has only plated six games this year, so until he plays ten, you use last year's average.

Great, thanks man. That's what I thought from your explanation above, but I wanted to make sure since he didn't play 20 games last year either.

On a related note, shouldn't James Singleton's average be last season's 6.1? I think you may have your Singletons mixed up. Good thing you don't have to use James's CBA average.  Welcome back Big Game James.
Nope, not mixed up at all ... James Singleton has only played two games this season, so I have to use the previous season's average, (which is 2010, because he didn't play in 2011), until he plays ten games.

Until a player plays ten games this season, you use the previous season's average.
I think the mix-up may be on your end ... you're looking at his average for the Wizards only, but he also played for Dallas, and his combined average for the season is 4.5 PPG.

Actually, the way the rule is written, you can't use a player if he didn't play the year before and has yet to play 10 this year.  This rules was established when Gilbert Arenas came back years ago and was lighting it up after playing just a few games the year before.  Basically, guys start fresh if they've been out that long (since the previous average probably doesn't have much bearing on the current one).
