I imagine that this thread will get locked as these usually lead to name calling and such.

It's pretty easy though, just completely ignore whoever you don't want to talk to. I know enough posters who have very different views than me so I simply refrain from engaging with them as it doesn't lead anywhere good.

yeah, just skip over them - real easy

(also, if you are talking about the front page comments, you can close any particular string of responses by clicking on the "heading" of each comment but that only closes that string, not all of that person's comments)
