Horford, Hayward and Kyrie so far a combined 34 points. That's what you like to see!

Is this the first game where they've all looked good?
I'm bitter.

Celtics yet again having so many opportunities to pull away yet they just can't.

Shades of last year too (including Game 7 ECF unfortunately)  :(

Milwaukee took control of that game in the 2nd and Cs were playing at their pace. Awful defensive quarter and Cs are fortunate they are shooting like 45% on their almost 30 shot attempts from 3. They really need to start attacking the paint.

Milwaukee is the best rebounding team in the league. Celtics gotta get asses on bodies and box the freak out.

Just about everyone playing well but Tatum. He has been pretty bad for about 2 1/2 games now

Danny Ainge’s observations in this game are very astute and he’s not afraid to be critical of them when they play bad

What's he saying?

Some of his comments in the last 5 min:

- "They made that look way too easy, they overreacted and need to do a better job of closing off those lanes" when DiVincenzo cut to the hoop

- We're not taking good shot attempts, look at that shot by Jayson, that's a tough shot" when Tatum missed a falling fadeaway after getting stuck in the key

- "I'd like to see Gordon initiate the play more often, he's a really good decisionmaker". 1 min later Hayward initiated the play twice, with Semi 3 and Morris 3

- "They need to drive the lane more and kick it out rather than settling for tough 3s" - when the Celtics were spraying it around from the 3pt line

The cool thing about that is that most of us at home are probably thinking the same thing. Shot selection hasn’t been great, Hayward’s been playing great, and they gotta hit the paint more before settling for the long ball.

Dang. We could be in the coaching staff!!! Danny Ainge has gotta lotta resources here in CStrong

Second quarter start with Tatum and Baynes bricking about 6 straight possessions just killed all momentum.

Hope this is Tatum's sophomore slump and he gets through it by the Christmas

Tale of the tape...first half

Bux 47.9%
Celtics 42.6%

However the threes hold the keys

Celtics 12/28
Bux 3/14

Tatum is scoreless...the 2nd half awaits him.

Benches
Bux 46 minutes > 21 points
Celtics 46 minutes > 13 points

Agreed! When were Ish Smith, Jeff Green, Bobby Portis, Ilyasova, etc considered beasts?

All 3, I'd say so. There's been a few games where 2 of the 3 looked good but not all 3.

I'd enjoy a series against the Bucks alot more than the Sixers or Raptors.
