6'5, 205lbs, 26 years old, former 2nd round pick, basically a late 1st(picked 2nd).

Put up 49pts for the Red Claws on Saturday night.  Scored over 30 each of the two games prior and is averaging 30ppg in the D-League.

Didn't do much for the Rockets or Kings, but averaged about 7ppg in 15 minutes off of their bench.

Obviously the kid can score, similar to a Jordan Crawford but with a better shooting percentage and slightly better size.

Does anyone know anything about him?

Taylor put up 30 again last night on 10/17 shooting, 4/7 from 3pt.  In addition to 5 rebs and 3 steals.

Like to see a real team give him a shot with some decent minutes and see what he can do.

Useful bench player for the Rockets a few years ago.

A power two guard. Relies a lot on his strength. Tries to bull through people. Average size at 6-5. A slasher. Most of his baskets come at the rim. Not much of a jump-shooter. Limited ball-handler + passer. Aggressive offensive player. Looks to score. Average to slightly above average defender. Good potential defensively. Solid rebounder.

Not as much upside as Terrence Williams but a better player in the here and now.

Same age as T-Will.  Is there really still that much upside with him, or just the memory that their used to be?

Explosive athleticism. Ball-handling ability.Impressive passing ability, vision, creativity and playmaking. Well above average defender with high level potential. Elite possession creator with terrific rebounding ability and capacity to create turnovers at a high clip.

There are a lot more tools there to work with. Terrence Williams, I mean.

Than with Jermaine Taylor who has much more limited tools to work with (average athleticism, limited ball-handling and passing ability, average defender/rebounder).

Chuck Hayes also called him the best scorer he has ever seen.
I have seen him play once or twice and he didnt have a good game then. I have always wondered why he wasnt able to dominate the NBA (On the offensive end) like he is doing in the D-League.
Jack of all trades, master of none.

He's definitely not the best scorer I've ever seen but that's decent. The D-League isn't so easy that anyone can do that, sure: give him a chance.
Jeff Green - Top 5 SF
