In related news, the DC Boxers still have all their players signed to NBA teams making their hope for a playoff run stronger than those of teams who have players signing overseas!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Tough blow for Buffalo; Kleiza is ineligible, as he just signed in Europe.

What if we allowed those people who drafted ineligible players (those that are retiring/staying retired, those who signed/staying overseas) to sign FA's as a provisional measure? Seems like that is what would happen in real life, why can't it happen here too?

I'd have no objection to Rebus or startorien being allowed to sign a FA now.

Just curious - did anyone ever start to (or even finish) the daunting task of updating every trade to include players from this year's draft?  It would be interesting to see how everything played out.  I can't due to work complications, but I had thought that someone else might have given it a shot.  I'd be willing to offer up copious TPs for anyone that could.

Daunting indeed. But this did remind me that I had a promise to fill, since I was paid my TPs upfront...

10 tps if someone can break down the entire trade history of this trade using the players actually picked. 

I'll toss in 10 TPs myself.

Love it.  It should keep people accountable, and they'll be much less likely to pursue vendettas, I think.  It's also going to be interesting to see how some of the GMs who declined to rank teams within their division are going to vote.

One you post your ballot, no editing will be allowed.  If a ballot is found to have been edited, it will be disregarded.

Only issue I have here is let's say I or another GM cast my votes publicly and some of the other owner's get ticked off that I didn't have their teams winning their division or I had them out of the playoffs, they take it out on my team or other GM's team to tamper that way, because they haven't cast their votes yet.  I already have my mind made up how I'm going to vote so it won't matter, but I wouldn't put it past anyone here, no offense, to do what I stated above.  That's why at least privately, if everyone is voting the way they should, nobody can do that.
