I remember the last two years everyone had a lot of fun with this. I would love to get this started up again. Would anyone be interested? Maybe this year we could put the rosters into a video game simulation or something.

I still think we gotta make some changes with it though, maybe have a veto system for trades so it doesnt get too uneven at times.

I'm fine with the commish making all the decisions. Last year I had some odds with him vetoing trades I made, but in the end he scrutinized every trade equally making the playing field level. The problem with a veto vote among all the owners is it would halt the draft.

I guess you have a point. I'm really looking forward to this though. Hope it can get set up soon.

Yeah, the staff is currently discussing the structure and the rules now.  In terms of awarding teams, preference will be given to people who have been active in the past (meaning, of course, that CFF and Evantime will be in.)

As Edgar said, expect an announcement shortly.

Should this come to be, could I stick my name in for a team?

Yeah, second preference would be given to active posters, so I'd say you've got a pretty good shot, Hoyo.  No promises, since I'm not Commish, but watch for the formal sign up thread.

(There will be at least one open team, since I'll be taking a one-year hiatus from running a team, much to my own disappointment.)

I'm having discussions with another poster who I've worked well with in the past, but if that falls through, I'm your man, hoyo (and I would work gratis, of course.)

Hey Roy, quick question. How does draft order work? Is it going to be random?

I'm really looking forward to participating again this year.  Last year I got my team when the other owner never picked, so hopefully I can do some more wheeling and dealing before the draft begins.

Kwit10 --- The Orlando Magics (or whoever i get this year) will trade you sight-unseen my 4th rounder for your 3rd round pick ... huh? We could swap 6th/7ths to balance it out if you like.
