Lol, I could post quite a number of songs here...

Here's a short song, it's from the soundtrack of an old art film called "The Belly of an Architect" (1987):

^I like to listen to this song sometimes in order to get pumped-up before playing sports, exercising, etc. The dramatic piano-synth and repetitive, static, rhythmic pattern of the track requires active listening in order for one to catch the flow and meter because the time signature changes at the end of each phrase before repeating itself from the beginning.

Here's a music video by the band 'Tool', the song 'Vicarious' from their album '10,000 Days':

^I like to listen to metal when I'm driving - for some reason I find it to be relaxing after a long day at work. Tool, Metallica, Slayer, etc.

J. Cole's music video "Who Dat":

Mike Love's remix of Jay-Z's "Success" from the album 'Nigerian Gangster' featuring Nas:

I also listen to plenty of jazz and classical music as well, here's a track from the album 'Coltrane's Sound', called 'The Night has 1,000 Eyes':

If I want to hear some quality classical music I try to catch it live.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Heres some of my favorite Royce. Just download the whole Death Is Certain album, a legit classic. Still not letting me embed the video on here, not sure why as the same links work on other sites.

it really stinks that Royce Da 5'9 had that weird beef with eminem and especially with Proof. When Eminem was on his grind at the beginning Royce could of become really famous.

His track "Boom!" is still one of my favorite singles.

No coincidence that it was produced by DJ Premier.

Also if any other hip hop fans have seen my comments about DJ Premier on here, they are withdrawn. I miss Guru, but it was only with DJ Premier that they really made magic.

And also I loved the album "Death is certain"

When I'm in the gym...I like to grunt when  I get my swell on... That way everyone can see how jacked and tan I am.

Wow that song Boom is HOT.  I recognized the beat but I don't think I've heard that in years.

Here's another goodie:

cee lo's F You song is hilarious!

and i've always enjoyed Ludacris' Get Back ft Sum 41. i dunno, i like it when rap and rock collaborate. Not a fan of that Lil Wayne album "Rebirth" though (or whatever it was called).
