Well, Edgar, you can know count
on having a Danish viking on the
team in 2027, too...
Yesterday, we went to a private clinic
and had my girlfriend's womb scanned and
IT'S A BOY!

On a scale of 1 to 10 of how happy I could
be I'm at approximately 3,495  :)

Awesome stuff, ACF!  Great stuff to hear!  TP for you, one for your girlfriend, and one for our future power forward.

At the end of January we adopted a 20-month old boy from China.  He has adapted well.  Due to his size, I'm thinking he's not going to play in the NBA unless we tank him up on steroids.  But he's dang cute.

Congrats!  That's really great.  8)

And you never know; if Muggsy can make the NBA, cavman, Jr. can, as well. ;)

Gee, I guess we have to remember those vitamins.
And something to make him grow much taller than me -I'm
only 5'11"! Oh, wait. Weren't Robert Wadlow's parents
of normal height? Maybe we got ourselves a pure center then.
And thank you so much for the TP's!

Yeah, cavman, you never know.
Like Roy, Muggsy was the first player
I thought of when I read your post.
I wish you good luck in the future and
here's a Tommy Point as well!

Edgar, ACF, and Cavman ... Congratulations to all! I'm so sorry I missed all this excitement, as parenthood is very important to me ... guess I'm not on at the right times. You all must be psyched, and now with the C's in the Finals ... life is indeed good, is it not? Though my youngest is now 19 and finishing her 2nd year at Northeastern, (you'll find that a father's duty is to brag at every opportunity), looking back on it all, it's by far the greatest job/experience/blessing in life, being a parent. Probably the hardest, too, and most painful at times, (I'm having a bit of trouble with the whole "empty nest" thing), as a single dad, when they finally leave home for good ... it's tough.

It's all an incredible journey, though, and I think the process forced me to grow as much as they did ... I really envy each one of you! God bless you and your new ones/ones on-the-way ... I pray you have all the blessings a happy family can have! All the best - I hope you'll keep us updated as to their arrivals! :) Cavman: I've been trying to adopt as well, and despite the fact that I've been a "successful" foster parent, it's been a very hard thing to do, (as a single dad). I'm so glad you were successful, as the whole process can be very, very difficult.
