Drummond is 25 years old. He's the rebounding beast we need. He's gettable with the right offer. If we got Drummond I would guarantee ring in 3 years.

I honestly don't think we will win a ring with Horford as our best big man love the guy but he's getting old. You guys can debate what to first you think they deserve.

Drummond is not a guy who can get big minutes in the playoffs in today's league; Horford regularly runs guys like that off the floor, at least when he's healthy and hitting his shots.

Even if I were to agree with you that the Celts can't win a title with Horford as their best big man, I don't see Andre Drummond as the answer to that problem.

The two firsts is a bit much. I wouldn’t be against getting Drummond in general

I would not trade Horford for Drummond straight up, never mind adding Rozier and two 1sts

You're greatly underestimating Horford's impact on both ends of the floor for this team. His outside shooting and passing skills, along with his leadership and defense are huge for us.

I voted no, not interested in the small-ball era

Horford will leave the Cs on is own terms. No one is trading him.

The Celtics are like the 10th best rebounding team in the league and 5th best defensive rebounding team in the league. I would rather have the all around great game of Horford rather than a guy who only rebounds and shoots from within 5 feet.

Let me guess. This thread appeared after the game today?
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

No I don't..he's a great role player at this point. 10.4 RPG in his prime. Guess when that was. When he was 26 years old. What is he avg now? 6.4 RPG.

Drummond is 25 years old and avg 18 PPG 15.5 RPG and 2 bpg. He plays 3 mpg more than Horford.

Nick your right we are a good rebounding team now, but that's clearly not because of Horford we become one of the top three rebounding teams in the league with Drummond.

This is a no brainier trade if it was an option. It's not so much Drummond is so great. It's that he's 7 years younger. If you don't think that matters, it does.

RPG volume isn't all that. Look at Brook Lopez, his teams rebound better when he's on the floor despite his low individual career RPG for his position.

Okay but who's a better rebounder Al Horford or Andre Drummond.

Who fits better in BS's style of play?

Drummond is an old school 5. He is very good at it but in the playoffs he will be useless. Taking him out of the paint and he is lost. Old as he may be Horford did much better job against Embiid that Drummond. And let's not talk about teams without real center like GS.
