Wow, Panthers up 10-0 on the Packers early.  Unbelievable.

Jamaal Charles, torn ACL.

Calling it:

KC finishes with the worst record in the NFL and gets Andrew Luck.

Yeah, it's hard to see them winning more than 3 games, max.

My vikes might have something to say about that. they apparently believe a game in the NFL lasts 30 minutes.

This is awesome news about Charles, my ff team will do so much better w/o my #1 RB >:(
Still don't believe in Joe.

Lions, Redskins, and Bills all 2-0.  Bet a lot of people didn't see that coming.

What was up with Baltimore laying an egg yesterday after, arguably, the most impressive Week One?

The offensive numbers being put up around the league right now are silly.

Yeah, I agree.  He's been a remarkably resilient QB.
If he has to sit out a few games, I like Phillies chances with Vince Young.
Celtics fan for life.

Not sold on Vince Young but the Eagles have plenty of weapons that will help take the pressure off him a bit if forced to start.  McCoy has been running extremely well to start the season.

They have a somewhat challenging stretch coming up schedule-wise: NYG, SF, @BUF, and @ WSH.

Is Young going to be back?

Good question.  They were trotting out Northwestern's own Mike Kafka last night.

Sounds like there's a decent chance Vick will be back now per PFT.

It should come as no surprise that the Eagles won’t publicly rule out Michael Vick for Week Three following his concussion on Sunday night.

Even if the team knew Vick was going to miss the next Eagles game, it wouldn’t help them to tell the media on Monday.  They want the Giants to prepare for Vick.

Team trainer Rick Burkholder started off coach Andy Reid’s press conference on Monday.  Burkholder said Vick was just “a little bit off” in concussion tests. Vick told teammates and the coaching staff he was “fine” last night and appears to be recovering quickly.

The protocol is to let Vick rest on Monday, then let him take tests during the week. Burkholder wouldn’t give Vick a timetable.

“That’s not worth guessing, that’s what tests are for,”  Burkholder said.

The team will almost certainly be without defensive end Juqua Parker.  Reid announced that Parker suffered a high ankle sprain

I wonder if both Tuck and Osi are back will make a difference on whether they have him play or not.

If the Giants can line up all 4 (if healthy) pass rushers on passing downs, and the way the Eagles line has been weaker this season in pass protecting, unless Vick is completely 100% back from the concussion, do they want to take that chance?

You have to admit the last two weeks of NFL football have been the best in years.  And it's about to get better
