Idk how old this is

The Celtics and Warriors took part in exploratory talks that would have sent Boston guard Marcus Smart to Golden State in exchange for the No. 2 pick in Wednesday's draft, according to the Action Network's Matt Moore.

According to the Action Network, the discussions are not expected to continue as the event nears this evening. However, the New York Times' Marc Stein reported Wednesday morning that the Celtics were searching for possible trade pathways to acquire a top three pick in Wednesday's draft.

I am confident that GSW asked for smart.

I am confident that danny told them to kick sand.

if GSW called and said #2 for Smart I'm 1129474% Danny would have flown him to Cali himself.

1 guy on this roster can score you a top 3 pick and he's not available.
ok fine

Stop hating, Smart is worth more than pick 2 to this team. Period.

Or all the picks

Or nothing.

Really? Have they changed it?

I'm waiting here in the Netherlands, it's 1 AM over here.
But I'm sticking with it. Love draft night.

In regards to spoilers here;  Not everyone is constantly on Twitter and there is certainly a group of people who prefer to see the picks as they are announced on TV.   Please respect that.  Don't ruin the enjoyment for others

Good point about spoilers, had forgotten about them. They can ruin the draft experience for many, so do not post them

That hyperbole.

Not fact.

Smart is worth far more to this team than #2.

Samrt would be worth more to the warriors than pick 2.

A rookie who may not contribute to a team at marcus' level for a few years if ever.

Every team in the league wants smart. Every single one. Not everone wants pick 2.

If the NBA subreddit is doing the no-spoilers thing, I think us doing so will be manageable as well.
