Highly unlikely that THIS is our Big Three......one can only dream.
Tristan Thompson already giving up #13? Lol

I'd gather that T2 would have no issues with it, lol especially once he's still here in BOS with Harden in tow.

Imagine THAT..

"Danny Ainge pulls off Christmas SHOCKER......."

Just in time for us to play BKN at 5PM on Christmas....James Harden in BOS versus Kyrie, Durant and BKN.

This becomes the Marquee game easily, that day.

Is this trade possible

To Magic: Langford, Timelord, Trade exception

To Rockets: Aaron Gordon, Marcus Smart, Carsen Edwards, Future 1st, 2nd

To Celtics: Harden

Does this check out?

If so this would be a way to not give up Brown. But enticing enough for the Rockets to make the trade

C- Thompsom
F- Tatum
F- Brown
G- Harden
G- Walker

C- Theis
F - Gwilliams
F- Nesmith
G- Teague
G- PP

I like my chances with this roster!

Harden /Brown /Tatum /Tucker / TT

Payton/Teague/Semi/Grant Williams / Green /Taco and Thesis

If we did it right we could ad Milke Turner and just our score everyone.

Right off the bat, I can see Brown and Walker for Harden. Simple enough. I don't know how Philly or Toronto could match that.

Still think he ends up on 76ers.

naw

it would have happened already

76ers easily give up Tobias Harris and whatever other role players. But Rockets say no to such offer

Simmons and Embiid are off the table

This would be the perfect time for Danny to use the exception. Get a guy like Aaron Gordon and then flip him with Smart for Harden

Not the Rockets 1st option, but maybe preferred over Siakam/Powell.   Definitely better than Tobias overpaid Harris.

Brown and Smart for Harden .... Rockets would call yesterday for such offer. But thinking about it, no way Danny gives up Brown

He didn't even want to give him up for Leonard

those of us that voted in the poll to get Harden are getting some vindication now.

Rockets do not need Walker ..you need a third team if Walker is going out...

We dont have the ammo anymore.  danny blew it all with bad choices.  The only thing they would want is brown and I dont see the celtics giving up that contract.

No chance Jaylen is traded for Harden. Zero.

Smart, kemba sure.

Smart, Kemba, Theis for Harden, Wood.
Houston has John Wall at guard and just signed Wood. Unlikely Kemba would be involved. I’m pro trading for Harden but I think deal would need to include some depth guys from Houston too like Tucker and/or House.
Wall is a big guard who's really strong defensively, so he's actually a pretty good fit with guards like Kemba who can ocsillate on and off the ball.
Jaylen Brown for All-NBA

Btw this rumour apparently has legs - the guy who tweeted this is apparently good friends with the owner of the Rockets and has been reporting on Houston sports since the early 80s.

I had posted the Granato tweet in another thread this afternoon. Granato has a show on ESPN radio in HOU.

It's a plausible and doable deal and it's also possible that HOU is trying to goose the market. According to earlier stories, HOU does want to move Harden.

I cannot imagine the Rockets not wanting Brown to headline the deal, with Tatum unavailable now and probably untouchable too.

Hmm....this thing has some legs, then.

Regardless how we all feel about Harden dude is BONAFIDE.

One of the greatest scorers of all time. You can't make anymore jokes about his defense, either - he's gotten better in that area, too.

Add in the fact that at his age he is HUNGRY.

Whatever mistakes he's made in the past I'd bet he's focused on WINNING, now.

Coming to BOS would probably be his LAST chance.

"IF" he gets here he'd be ok.

Talent like that...all you do is unpackage him, turn him loose and enjoy the show.

If your coach can't handle nba players and you're in the nba then you need a new coach.

And what culture? What is this mythical culture that celtics fans have created in their minds?

Because this same mythical culture would have never brought us KG if we hung onto this intangible concept that only exists in this fictitious reality.
