I know this is an after the season thing, but with the top 76 team being announced it got me thinking about this again. We've done all sorts of things from everyone, certain decades, only guys playing for the C's at some point in their career, and of course last year no player drafted in top 10. Not sure there is much left to do, but maybe we do the opposite of last year and do only top 10 picks. That could be really interesting when putting together benches as there just aren't as many guys to choose from and fit can get very weird. Starting lineups will all be great, but team fit would definitely be interesting when you only have 750 or so players to choose from.
I'd still be down to do this before the season starts. Thinking about other things, maybe we do something like pick whomever you want for the first 3 rounds, but everyone after that must have been a teammate of one of your top picks at some point in their career (you do it by career, not just the teammate seasons). That might be too complicated, but I think it would be pretty fun trying to piece together a cohesive team when you start limiting who you can pick (and a nomad like Shaq would have increased value).
