Lets take a look at how he stacks up against Tony Parker his 2nd year in the league and the year he claimed his first of 3 rings...

FG% - .492 > 464 Rajon

Rebounds - 4.2 > 2.6 Rajon

Steals - 129 > 71 Rajon

PPG - 10.6 < 15.5 Tony

Assists - 5.1 < 5.3 Tony

Blocks - 13 > 4 Rajon

Turnovers - 146 > 198 Rajon

this has been looked at before on this blog, but that was at the beginning of the season when someone said rondo could be the next parker. i find it interesting looking at the stats of both players. the only thing that tony really beats him on is points, but in all fairness, we know rondo can score the ball and in another team he could average in the region of 15-18 ppg. but he's not a scorer on this team. however, i do think he should become that in the playoffs - that would be our x-factor.

rondo will be better than parker..look at all the talent rondo is around..

Well I'm not sure about that. RR just completed his 2nd season...
RR has been compared to Parker over and over this season. Nothing original at this point.
