Given the circumstances......that was a tremendous half of basketball for this team.

No it wasn't

That was pretty bad basketball

If it wasnt for Tatum, team would be losing to the Cavs by 10
Guess you didn't catch the "given the circumstances" part.

Romeo has to come up with some kind of offense if he wants more playing time.

Cant shoot. Needs to bulk up over the summer
He will but his build is fine.  His shots around the rim are too predictable.  He needs to upfake more and change direction quicker.

But his lack of consistent jump shot is worrisome

It a strange form

I would like to see him find his shot, but he has been one of our best defensive wings lately. I've been really impressed with him on that side of the ball.

Tatum needs to clean up the bad passes . I counted 3 to the wrong hands

He had a hot start, but was hot garbage in the last few minutes. Turnover after turnover, missed [tough] shots - definitely forcing it. We gave up a 9-2 run to finish the half and we can't count on Semi going nuclear again. Tatum has to be a star in the 2nd half.

Semi did take a shot to the junk but they said it might side line him for the second half, ouch!

Celtics are missing 59 points( on a TS% of 59%), 17 rebounds, 11 assists from their starting lineup. 3 rookies have played 34 minutes in the first half and Smart can't hit the side of a barn with his shot yet the Celtics lead by 6 at the half.

That is tremendous. Again, and perhaps you missed this the first time, given the circumstances.

agreed, Tatum was forcing it at the end of the half.  needs to play more in the flow of the game.

At this point it's a minor miracle if the C's can get though a game without some type of injury.

If the boxscore is right, Tatum is the only Celtic with a turnover.

Edit: until then.

Okay, I am ready for Carsen Edwards - can't be worse than Smart and he at least has the potential to go off. He is a spark plug, too, and this team needs energy.

So far it might have been better for us if Smart had been suspended, lol.
