LeBron James cleaning house.

Man, Danny Ainge making that trade look like a highway robbery.

Not really

Irving for Crowder, Clarkson, Nance Jr and Nets 2018, future 2nd  is a nice return

Better than for a semi healthy IT4

Crowder's going to Utah. Cavs just basically undid the whole trade.

Video of Windhorst on ESPN that I couldn't listen to but the headline says this trade opens the path for the lakers to sign two max free agents this summer (ie George and Lebron).  Did they really shed enough salary for this (I don't really get all the cap stuff) or is this just ESPN desperate for the lakers to be relevant again?

In the video, Windhorst is super amped over this trade. Sounds like he's ready to move to LA.

Did LeBron seriously orchestrate having his current team help his next team clear cap space to sign him?
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

And he made his current team better.
But he made the current Lakers worst, so WE have a better chance at that great first round pick this year.
Unintended consequences Mr. James.

Dumb question, does IT have to pass a physical? Not that I am wishing he fails one, but can you imagine if ended up back in Cleveland due to a failed physical. Cleveland would riot and Lebron would be at the front of the riot pack!

Lakers don't care about the physical, they just want the expiring contract.

Bingo.

When Ball get back he'll be relegated to a 7th or 8th man off the bench. The Lakers are getting ready for next year. Look for IT to be pushed to another team next year.
