Not really a fan of Marcus Smart and his behavioral problems (though I do enjoy his hustle plays), but whose the bum that's currently unemployed right now?
JR Smith needs to go away.
behavioral problems? Why are NBA players the ones whoa aren't allowed to be emotional. Why is charging the mound accepted/admired, along with the full on ensuing brawls, and hockey fights, etc..all just fine. But when an NBA players gets really upset he's got a behavioral problem? Two crappy calls on Smart, and then Bembry talks crud in his ear and the Celtics are sucking and losing and Smart has already tried to revive the team in the huddle. I'd have been p---ed too. The ref were HORRIBLE in that game. All of the sins, including numerous phantom calls.
In any case, I know you're going on things from the past as well and I respect your opinion, just disagree.
I'm officially irritated with any Celtics who didn't back Smart up at the end of the game by NOT hugging Bembry...(I'm not sure anyone did I thought someone might have...ok ok if they're buds whatever but please...back up your emotional leader in a case like tonight).
In my opinion Marcus Smart won the Celtics this game with his behavior. He clearly escalated the intensity and it never waned the rest of the game.
regarding JR Smith, I guess sucker punching Crowder and knocking him out is his idea of not being a bum.
